Assoc. Prof. Datuk Dr Ahmad Kusyairi Khalid received his Bachelor of Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics and Bachelor of Medical Science from the National University of Ireland in 2008. He subsequently obtained his Master of Otorhinolaryngology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2015.
He is a Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist with extensive expertise in complex ENT, Head & Neck and oncological surgery. His clinical interests include complex head and neck conditions, advanced surgical techniques and minimally invasive approaches.
Dr Kusyairi has extensive experience in complex head and neck cancer surgery, including COMbined MAndibulectomy and Neck Dissection Operation (COMMANDO), as well as advanced reconstructive procedures. He is also highly experienced in robotic-assisted ENT surgery, particularly Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS), with experience in complex procedures involving the tongue base, larynx and other head and neck structures.
His expertise in advanced ENT surgery is further supported by his involvement in robotic surgical procedures, live surgical demonstrations and research in Head & Neck and robotic surgery.
